Woke up at 4:30am to catch a 6ish flight to Houston. From Houston waited an hour for connecting flight to Ft Lauderdale. Finally got some sleep on the plane because the ocean is nothing to see a mile up. We land and get to the baggage claim and find out that it’s not our carrousel. We find ours and get our bags, get to the shuttle and get packed like sardines. A couple minutes later were waiting in line to get into the customs building. We get through fairly quickly because of the wheelchair that my grandma has.

Onboard the ship is where they give me my room key/id/credit card and then pack us into an elevator to find our deck. We’re behind other, higher deck people so it was fun getting past all the old people (there’s a lot (a lot)).

Found our room, we have a nice view of the other ships (got two videos of one leaving). I go out on the deck to get the cool ocean air and I realize…. I have Internet! I message some friends (carcar (is that ok?), Sey, and Kemp) that IM ON A BOAT.

We pull out of dock around 5:15 and we’re off to sea.

After playing Crysis for 3 hours on Moderate, these are the temperatures of my rig.
Temp1: 93F
Temp2: 73F
Temp3: 187F (I’m pretty sure this is incorrect)
HD0: 82F
HD1: 95F
HD2: 93F
HD3: 91F
Core: 57F

I love this case. Temp3, what the hell is wrong with you?

I’ve put in a logging script into the core of sigs.eegrasstudios.com. I’ve noticed a lot (a lot) of connections coming from a certain IP with no referrer address. Maybe 98% of the no referrer connections are from one IP. You can check to see if its you by looking below:

If that loaded, then you’re not banned, if you are, contact eegras@eegrasstudios.com so we can get this sorted out.

First of all, I never thought that http://sigs.eegrasstudios.com/ would get so popular! About 8:30AM CST today I tried to access eegrasstudios and encountered a 500 server error. I thought this was intermittent because HostGator routinely changes hardware and update kernels to keep ahead of security threats. Well, 4:00 PM comes and its not there. I hit up HostGator tech support and find out you guys aren’t using a lot of bandwidth, you’re using up CPU usage.

Holy crap. I’ve heard of webmasters complain about bandwidth overages, but CPU overages? I think this site is generating upwards of 1,000 images A DAY. Damn. I’ve disabled it for the rest of the month to make the server hosts happy.

Long story short (tl;dr): Donate! If I get donations I can upgrade to a beefier server. If you all donate even $0.10 a month, thats a full 100.00 I can use on the server! All donations to my PayPal account will go to the server, nothing else. So, please, if you use http://sigs.eegrasstudios.com/ and like it, donate. It will help keep this from happening again.

Edit: I’ve brought back the script with a few additions to it to possibly help with the load. Still, guys, donate. If this happens again, I might have to think of turning the script off all together…

New look for ES
I just rolled out a new design for EegrasStudios. I’m going back to the black look because it shows off my images a whole lot better. I’ve had some very flexible scripts being used minimally in the old ES that I’m going to be using more extensively in the new one. Case in point, my gallery.

With Enigma’s server move, Dash still has yet to recode the ESRC to work. The esrcGUI will still stay up on the off chance of him making it work.

Great.  I’m at it again.  This time its with, possibly, 3 different girls.  1 at school, 2 at work.  Yet again, I don’t know if they feel the same way, and I don’t want to find out because it might fuck up our friendships, but I do want to find out because I want to take it a little farther.

Why do women have to be so hot?!

I’m thinking about rolling out my new “u4oria” design (it will also be used on an upcoming site, u4oria-online.com) onto ES, with a color change, maybe green or red.  More soon.

Just added in some gradients and a stylesheet switcher.  Click the images at the bottom of the Paypal donate (please?) button to change the theme.  This preference sticks for 60 days, or until you change it again.  I hope to make more styles soon.

I got my XBox back 2 weeks ago.  Yay for me.  It’s a new one with a manufacture date of 2008.  Whee!  Falcon chip for me!
